Moments in the Flow…Gemini Uranus Reveals a Biblical Misunderstanding

I came upon another Substack post that sparked my curiosity. While reading it I noticed connections between the Old Testament, a mysterious place I visited decades ago, and something Anwen is told by Merlin in Priestess of the Realms. And for me this was another example of how Uranus in Gemini will be revealing a level of meaning that has been hidden. It’s fascinating to know that our view can be obscured by the meaning of one word.

The post is about the actual translation of one Greek word. My post yesterday about words delineating sexual identity gave me greater knowledge of things that have been hidden. This post may do the same when comments and questions arrive. And I think this translation is relevant to our stress over what we see happening in the world today, but not in the way you may think.

The Author is NABU who also translates Aramaic. In this post he is translating a Greek word in 1 Corinthians 2:7.

The right pronunciation of Apokrupto.

“Apokekrummenon is a perfect passive participle from the verb Apokrupto. To hide away. To conceal completely. To store in a place that ordinary perception cannot access.

The perfect tense in Greek describes an action completed in the past whose effects continue into the present. Apokekrummenon describes something that was hidden away at a specific point in the past and remains hidden in its concealed location in the present moment.

This is not hiding something shameful. It is the hiding of something precious….The Apokekrummenon is the hidden treasury. The concealed store of divine intelligence that was placed beyond the reach of ordinary perception not because it was dangerous but because ordinary perception was not yet developed enough to receive it.

The mystery school tradition understood this precisely. The inner sanctum teaching was not hidden from the people. It was hidden for them. Protected until the consciousness of the individual had been developed through the initiatory process to the level at which it could receive what the hidden wisdom contained without being destroyed by it or distorting it beyond recognition.

There is a specific quality of divine intelligence that requires a specific quality of consciousness to perceive.”

The Coral Castle

In the mid-90s when I lived in southeast Florida, I became aware of a mysterious place in Homestead, a town below Miami and above the Keys. Coral Castle has become a wonder of the world. Created in 1920, it is “an oolite limestone structure created by the Latvian-American eccentric Edward Leedskalnin. It comprises numerous large stones, each weighing several tons, sculpted into a variety of shapes, including slab walls, tables, chairs, a crescent moon, a water fountain and a sundial” It’s also known that he began construction and then moved the objects to be further away from Miami, without any help.

The first time I went to see it was just like my first trip to the pyramid in Tulum that I described in Yucatan Dreams. The phenomenon was just there on the side of a barely trafficked road. You wandered around on the grass, looking at everything, ending with the small building with steps up to a single room with a hammock. There was a sign telling us this was where he lived.

Now, like Tulum, it is a roadside attraction with pebbled walkways, trimmed grass, and an air-conditioned building with books and other things to buy. But the mystery of how this small, thin fellow managed to create and move these heavy stones remains. Edward was visited by Presidents and government representatives who wanted him to tell them how he did it. But each time, he refused.

The most we know is that he left his homeland because he couldn’t marry the woman he loved. He worked on a ship coming over to the US and read books about ancient Egypt. There was also a marking on the wall of his single room that he said was a clue, but so far no one has gotten what it meant. This fairly recent film gives you a good look at it, and more information.

And speaking of Egypt, they still don’t know how the pyramids or the Sphinx were built and they can’t lift an object like Hatshepsut’s obelisk with modern technology.

I’m grateful for this because if the way to lift and carve tons of limestone without machines and other tools became known by governments, one morning, we might wake up in our home but in another location. And that would be the least of our worries.

This information must remain hidden because “There is a specific quality of divine intelligence that requires a specific quality of consciousness to perceive.” And that is not seen in the prevailing consciousness of pursuing power, achieving power-over, and accumulating great personal wealth.

The Blue Stones

When I was writing Priestess of the Realms, there was a chapter where Merlin takes Anwen to visit the Blue Stones on their way back to the Priestess Isle. These stones on the West Coast of Wales are thought to be the oldest rocks on earth. There is another mystery about how the ancient ones carved and then transported these heavy ‘singing’ stones from Wales to Stonehenge near Salisbury, England.

When Anwen asks about this, Merlin tells her that people no longer have the knowledge of the ancient ones before us who knew how to cut and move stones. Their knowledge was hidden as humans had shown the potential to use it in ways that went against the will of the Divine. When she asks him if they hid it in a location that may one day be found, he says no one knows if that is so, and this is for our own good.

The Ring of Brodgar on the Isle of Orkney is said to be the largest stone circle (originally 60 stones) and they are tall stones remaining after weather has worn them down since they were placed in what they believe was between 2600-2000 BC. Because the buried part of the stone is thought to be the same length as the one above, we have another mystery of engineering.

Perhaps one day we will evolve beyond our current thinking and be elevated into that ‘specific consciousness we need to perceive it.’ Still, it seems that would be a long way off.
