What Is and Will Always Be
Moments in the Flow…Standing in the Eye of the Storm
Hello Again,
A theme emerged for me on Sunday. It began with a Lightwork planetary group session. We were guided into working with light frequencies to allow for and accept the Actual Design. This is something we don’t see or determine but being able to accept it is at work removes layers of resistance that impedes the flow.
Unless we grew up in a family practicing the Dharma (the subject of a daily prayer for Tibetan Monks about where they wish to be born in their next incarnation), allowing the presence of an Actual Design is not what we were taught. It’s not how we communicate our experience to family, friends and others, both privately and on social media.
There is so much news that causes a reaction, followed by a response. And we are unaware of the energy our thoughts and words add to the whirling chaos. We were taught to ‘be’ our reaction and then ‘do something about it.’ When we can’t, stress levels rise as does the energy of despair.
Finding our Focus
Our focus on the whirlwind also detracts from experiencing the joy of life. The need for coming back to peace and experiencing beauty in the ‘reality’ of nature has been leading people toward new experiences like ‘forest therapy’. It works…for a while. But what if we’re not near a forest when we need one?
On Sunday, it was suggested that we use our Inner light to stand steady in the Eye of the Storm. Not denying all that may be raging around us, but grounding and identifying with the light and stillness of the center. The “I Am” at peace in the Eye.
This Tuesday morning, in what is always a spontaneous, guided meditation with Marianne Mitchell (Appalachian Priestess on YouTube), we were also led to the release of struggle. Adding to being in the eye of the storm, Marianne spoke of the reality beyond our daily experience: the eternal, purposeful, action of the Universe and all of creation.
Remembering that beyond our small self and details of our world, the Universe has been, is, and always will be following the Actual Design is another way to achieve peace and release from the need to feel in control (or out of control, as it seems).
On my Facebook newsfeed Tuesday I found an article by Anna Merkaba that relayed a vision she had. And part of this was a method to release the programming (intentional) of hierarchical comparison thinking. Since I didn’t follow her page at the time, seeing it on my feed seemed to be another gift including another action to apply to the theme.
The hierarchy issue was the focus of the paradigm shift at the Saturn Pluto conjunction in Capricorn in January 2020. There’s been tremendous backlash to the idea of removing the Capricornian traditions of hierarchy and the patriarchy. That’s not surprising. But it’s also not the way of the future. Even Planet Neptune’s shift into Aries suggests the coming of a new way to identify and act.
Neptune in Aries and the Retrograde Into Pisces
Neptune entered Aries at the end of March (Sunday the 30th at 8:00 a.m. EST). I heard someone describe this combination as taking spiritual action. But this directive is beyond the religious crusades which were founded on deception and allowed atrocities in the name of Jesus…this action would be generated by an individual (Aries) and include a profound alteration of how we see the world and how the world sees us (Aries-ruled first house).
The message of the theme I observed came a day before retrograde Neptune returned to Pisces (Wednesday at 5:48 a.m. EDT). Here is its last dip into the realm of its rulership in our lifetime. It has positive potential of vision, spiritual awareness and creative focus, but also the negative potential for confusion, deception, and escapist behaviors.
Neptune stays on the last degree (29 Pisces) and goes direct there on December 10th. Neptune was on the 29th degree of Pisces for the whole month of March. During the return, we may look back at that time and discover some new meanings.
Neptune and Venus
The Astrological calendar will tell you Venus in Aries went into retrograde as March began. This initiated a journey of discovery into issues with right use of power and the reclamation of positive personal power. Venus retrograded back into Pisces, turning direct at 24 degrees in April and reentering Aries at the beginning of May.
Looking back, we may see our values, ideals of love-given and received, relationship to money, relationships with others, creating agreements and expressing leadership were areas providing revelations and some form of change. With Venus in Pisces, we explore the ideal of love as compassion or descend to the dungeon of love as suffering.
Neptune is considered the ‘higher octave’ of Venus. We may see a parallel to the Venus retrograde happening in Neptune’s now. We can see the effects of Pisces Neptune’s dissolving action, and we can vision a new positive image. For me, receiving the messages pointing to our personal choice of where we stand and how we use our energy now is in alignment as part of the journey during Neptune’s return to Pisces.
If we choose to shift our frequency this way and practice some aspect of centering each day, we may find ourselves on the path to a spiritual activity that takes us into the Neptune in Aries passage grounded in light, standing steady in the eye of the storm.
Neptune will reenter Aries on January 27th of 2026. In this Number One Universal Year, Neptune in Aries is right on time to play a part in the Actual Design of the new cycle. Neptune will leave Aries for Taurus in 2039.
See you next time!

Always insightful and positive. Thank you, Shellie.
From my viewpoint, this post triggers the reminder of what is possible spiritually on the personal level, and the very different realities and possibilities at the collective level. Of course, the more Light we cultivate personally, the more Light will shine in the collective. In the depths of Kali Yuga, to hold back the Darkness is likely the most we can expect. Yet holding back the Darkness is an existentially heroic task.
I have particularly enjoyed this article because my mission and purpose has very recently become much brighter. I especially enjoyed the way you have explained Neptunes journey. I have a heavy 12th house and so it feels like a view to freedom 🩵💫
