A focus on the Moon is appropriate for understanding the flow of the week’s energy. In the old days they said, “The Moon Tells the Tale.” It is told in the aspects the Moon makes as it moves quickly through each sign. In daily forecasts, the Moon’s sign and phase colors the mood of the day and what activities are supported.

About Your Personal Moon

Knowing the Moon Sign and Phase at birth is helpful as this combination describes your instinctive feelings and responses to the environment. And this also lets you know when you will have a personal Monthly Lunar Return when the Moon returns to the degree and sign it was in at birth. Those charts can be very helpful for planning ahead and understanding the focus for that timeframe.

When someone books a reading with me, I always look at where the Moon will be during the reading to get information about the client’s most important issue.

In progressions to your birth chart, we will find your Moon is in a different sign, phase and location. This is also good to know as it shows deeper and longer lasting effects. In a similar cycle to Saturn, there is a full chart Lunar Return near ages 27, 54, and 81.Knowing this gives more information about the signs, houses, and phases of the progressed Moon which reveals where feelings and changes are most pronounced and when the location and signs shift.

· The week begins in the 2^nd Quarter Phase. Now we begin to fertilize and tend to the seeds we planted and seek to acquire the connections and tools we need to achieve our goals. Moon is in the Waxing Gibbous phase

· Tuesday when the Virgo Moon opposes the Pisces Sun at 6:38 a.m. EST we have the Full Moon phase. The Virgo Full Moon is a total Lunar Eclipse.

· Wednesday we enter the 3^rd Quarter Phase. During this disseminating phase we share our Full Moon harvests…materially or as information we have gained. Moon is in the Waning Gibbous Phase.

· Moon Signs this week: Leo, Virgo, Libra, and Scorpio

DAILY FORECASTS

· Monday begins with Leo Moon. Leo Moon brings the instinct for giving affection, providing, self-expression, creativity, entertainment and receiving attention. Pitfalls: dramatic, demanding, over-spending, attention-seeking.

· Monday Leo Moon brings agitation and potential for argument to early morning hours in EST. Moon is Void of Course until it enters Virgo.

· Virgo Entry Monday at 7:34 a.m. EST. Virgo Moon brings the instinct to perfect, organize, analyze, stay healthy and serve others. Pitfalls: Over-serving, being critical and judgmental of others and self, strict rules.

· Monday Virgo Moon is on the way to the opposition to Pisces Sun. Feelings intensify and the need for organization and clarity conflicts with lack of clear communication and assistance.

· Mars Enters Pisces 9:16 a.m. EST

· Tuesday 12 Virgo Moon opposes the Sun in Pisces at 6:38 a.m. EST. The FULL MOON TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE arrives. (read more in the Planetary and Lunar Events section). A sense of optimism helps us get things done around the home, health, diet and with family. But later there is misunderstanding and lack of clear communications again which brings frustration for the Virgo Moon instinctive need to have order and perfection.

· Wednesday Virgo Moon’s morning feels let down by loved ones who can’t take direction or get things done, and the critical side of Virgo may be activated. But a new way of looking at things proves helpful and others share the same vision. Moon is void of Course until it enters Libra

· Libra Moon Entry Wednesday, 1:56 p.m. EST. Libra Moon brings the instinct to discuss, compromise, create relationships, create beauty, see all sides. Pitfalls: People pleasing, using charm to influence others, difficulty making choices, swinging back and forth in moods and opinions.

· Wednesday Libra Moon finds conflict instead of agreement as actions are taken that were not agreed upon and authorities won’t listen to other sides of situations before they act on their own. It takes a while before some clear information is found and others are willing to consider this new information.

· Thursday Libra Moon loses equilibrium when confronted by the needs of others. Going overboard in spending may also happen. But later, there is a long stretch of time where Libra Moon can relax and bring inner harmony back and outer harmony in relationships.

· Friday remains peaceful and discussions can take place. But important decisions are not advised as the Moon is void of Course until it enters Scorpio

· Venus Enters Aries, Friday 6:46 a.m. EST

Scorpio Entry Friday, 11:01 p.m. EST. Scorpio Moon brings the instinct to protect the self by being in control and influencing situations for personal safety and profit. Pitfalls: Being unconscious of motivation and the effect of actions, taking revenge, micromanaging, keeping secrets.

· Saturday Scorpio Moon adds good management skills to the day. This will be helpful since planetary energies are leaning toward fantasy over fact and actions may be taken without the forethought needed. The evening hours in EST will feel the potential for an intense challenge for who is in control and what should be done in the future. Scorpio gets positive feelings from family and others that smooth things over and extend into Sunday morning.

· Sunday Scorpio Moon has an easy flow of communication and although others may feel undervalued the Moon is in harmony with the Sun and we can manage to stay positive within and have positive interactions with others. Some good news or pleasant conversations may be on the way and those in need may get the help they seek.

· Moon remains in Scorpio with aspects on Monday.

MARS ENTERS PISCES

Mars will need scuba gear when he dives into Pisces on Monday at 9:16 a.m. EST. A lot of steam may accompany the splash-down as water kills the flames of this red-hot fire planet. And this is part of the Mars in Pisces essence. It has emotions, but we don’t always see them. In fact, taking part in an argument or showing intense reactions are rare for Mars in this sensitive sign.
The God of War in Pisces prefers submarines, and subterfuge, and may use gas or toxic substances to achieve victory. But there will be no bragging about this or seeking recognition.
Mars still has passions and one of them is for the underdog. They may also be concerned for what is happening to the oceans and the fish and creatures that dwell within. They will fight for their rights, but in a socially accepted way, like being a pro-bono lawyer for the defense.
Some may be passionate about the Arts and some will keep their passions a secret. If they feel wronged and want to retaliate, Mars in Pisces would choose a more passive-aggressive move.
Mars in the sign of the lymphatic system and the feet can show a tendency for inflammation in those areas. The feet of Mars in Pisces might get inflamed through dance which can also be a passion and/or profession.
But for others choose your shoes with comfort in mind if you’re doing a lot of walking and running. If you’re having a vacation on a tropical isle, make sure you have beach sandals to counter some of the heat that sand can hold.
Visits to the podiatrist may increase. And during this passage we may want to consult someone who can suggest herbs known to protect the immune system, like Sambuca (Elderberry).
Mars in Pisces will trine Jupiter in Cancer on March 21^st. A good time for water sports, eating at a restaurant with seafood and/or water views, and enjoying some quality family time. Mars in Pisces will sextile Uranus in Taurus on April 8th and add intuitive action to surprises or changes in finance or world events.
Mars leaves the sea and comes onto land when it enters Taurus on April 9^th, just in time to energize work on financial issues and tax returns (for those in the US).
VIRGO FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE

VENUS ENTER ARIES

Venus moves into the cardinal Fire sign, Aries, on Friday March 6^th at 5:46 a.m. EST. At this point Venus is in the sign of Mars and Mars in the sign where Venus is said to be exalted. This should give them ways to understand each other.
In Aries, Venus loves being active and having freedom of movement. Her love-speak is often full of teasing and banter. She loves the chase but can become easily bored. Keeping her guessing is helpful. Challenging her in games, sports, or wordplay is stimulating. Coming up with new places to go and other adventures will keep her interested. Don’t be dismayed if she walks a few paces ahead of you.
Venus in Aries can bestow beauty to the face and head. She likes to get a new look with makeup and hairstyle. Earrings may be a favorite accessory. She may like hats for different occasions. She spends on these items, and on facials or other cosmetic treatments and plastic surgery. Massage of neck and scalp is also a favorite and finding fashionable sunglasses or prescription eyewear. But her active lifestyle may prefer contacts.
Venus is associated with money in general, but Aries Venus is not a saver and likes to treat herself, so money may come and go.
Venus will join Neptune in Aries on Saturday the 7^th and we may all need to slow down a bit to see if the way is clear and if those around us are really how they seem. She may feel rejected, frustrated, and resistant when she joins Saturn in Aries on Sunday, the 8^th. But her sextile to Pluto in Aquarius on Tuesday will bring her back up to speed.
Venus squares newly direct Jupiter in Cancer near the New Moon on Wednesday, the 18^th. She may overspend on impulse buys or frustrate family who’d like her to stay home. She’s not the one to go to with insecurities and emotional issues. Venus finally gets down to some lesson-learning about independence when she joins Chiron in Aries on March 26^th.
Venus will leave the fire and move into her domicile, earthy Taurus on March 30^th. She’s just in time for chocolate rabbits and eggs, baking and creating a feast for Easter on Sunday, April 5th.
The house Venus in Aries will transit in the birth chart can be a place to find love and money. If she’s in the 1st or 10^th house, you’ll enjoy getting more compliments than usual.
