Astrology and Bach Flowers
Moments in the Flow...Learn How To Combine Two Systems to Work With Patterns of Response

Hello Again,
You may have already read my post in June of 2024 where I told you about how my journey into the field of Holistic Health began. Bach Flower Remedies were on of the many things that just came to me in the 1970s and 1980’s. Most were unpopular (Astrology) or not well-known (Bach Flowers) at that time. Looking back, it seems that most of my life has been that way.
As an Astrologer, a person’s birth chart shows me the nature of personality, along with gifts and challenges. But it also reveals areas likely to be involved in health. I had noticed that an illness was happening alongs with the current stressors in the chart’s planetary energy.
I wanted a way to communicate and assist with these emotional and mental needs.
One day, I communicated my desire to a person in the school of meditation I attended. He suggested I investigate Bach Flower Remedies.
My friend said Bach Flowers were an “Energy Medicine.” That was not a familiar notion at the time, and this method was based on the idea that a certain flower held a specific vibration that could bring a low frequency thought back to a harmonious state. Peace followed, and with that, both personality and physical discomforts could be relieved.
And since it did not directly affect the physical body, I would not need a medical license. Bach Flowers seemed to be the perfect answer for my needs. Now I just had to learn about them and experience their effects.
Serendipity paved the way. Ellon Bach, then the New York affiliate for Bach Flower Remedies, had a weekend workshop in NYC, later that month. The teacher was one of the respected pratitioners of this healing method in the US, Dr. Eric Love. I registered immediately. It was a wonderful, eye-opening experience.
Today, many people have heard of the famous Rescue Remedy: a combination of the five Bach Flower Remedies able to address the aftereffects of trauma. But there’s so much more than this. I have been a practitioner and teacher of the Bach Flower method for over 40 years. By now, I have too many stories about experiencing the positive effects of using this holistic healing system, for myself and others, to list them all now.
Something I love about Bach Flowers is that as an energy medicine that doesn’t affect the body, they can also be used with pregnant women, babies, plants, and animals. And it harms none … unless you need to boil off the small amount of brandy that preserves the remedies. This does not effect their vibration*.
However, in recent years, the Bach Remedies created an alcohol-free line. This makes it easier to use and this line is best for use with pets.

I also learned about Dr. Bach himself in that first workshop and more in subsequent reading. He was truly an unusual man, ahead of his time. In the Introduction to Bach Remedies, we learn the story of his life and how he was led to reawakening the ancient practice of transferring the vibration of a specific plant into water and discovering the effects on the mind. It is truly inspiring.
His original work centered on finding what is now called the Twelve Healers. They relate to the 12 Signs of the Zodiac. Gradually, he added more until there were 38 Remedies, including the blend called Rescue Remedy.
A New Method of Selection
After Bach passed in 1936, a school and practitioners remained and information spread to other countries. Eventually, a new method of selection was developed that also related to Astrology. As this is a beneficial combination of my professions, I studied this method. I have used it for myself and others, and had good results.
I taught a short version of this method in 2024. I was recently approached by a friend and fellow Aromatherapist, Elizabeth Ashley, to teach this method in-depth for her Aromatic Mystery School, located in England. But you can join the Zoom classes from anywhere and you will receive a recording.
Bach Flower Remdies and Astrology — Six Bi-weekly Classes beginning Friday, January 23rd 2026. via Zoom 2:00 p.m. EST, 7:00 p.m. BST (Recorded)

All the information you need and a way to register and you can also contact Elizabeth on her Aromatic Mystery School page on Facebook. You will also find an interview with me about the topic on YouTube.
The Workshop has Two Segments. The first is an introduction to Dr. Bach and all the Remedies and methods of use. The first segment will include a brief amount of aromatherapy information about using essential oils based on their astrological sign. If you are already well-versed in the use of Bach Flowers, you can choose to take the second module alone. This discusses the way to address the three-fold pattern of response for each sign and what other remedies are included for universal issues.
You can also Contact Me if you have any questions.
See you next time! ✨🌀✨
